San Vicente de la Barquera is considered like Gastronomical Capital of the region, with numerous restaurants and bars of recognized prestige.

        Its gastronomy is based on the noble fruits of the sea, of excellent quality, that enter daily in the fishing port of the villa.

        Along with the exquisite fish and seafood of the Cantabrian Sea, we will be able to enjoy one varied supply of rations.

        The typical plate of San Vicente de la Barquera is the "Sorropotún", stew with tuna fish and potatoes that ate the sailors in the boat, during the long "tuna fishery".
